Fire Station Tour Request Form

The purpose of the fire station tour is to provide public fire and life safety education and to provide a value-added learning experience.

Personal information contained on this form is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c. 25 and will be used for the purposes of administering your Fire truck visit application. Please read carefully the following before booking your request:

• Fire station tours must be requested a minimum of 2 weeks before the requested date. Tours are be booked between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• The majority of the tour participants must be 5 years of age or older to ensure optimal comprehension of fire prevention and life safety message.
• All children must have adult supervision during the tour. A ratio of 1 adult to 3 children is recommended. A maximum of 2 station tour bookings are permitted from the same organization per calendar year.
• Birthday parties are not permitted at any station.
• Walk-ins are welcome for individuals, families, and small groups of 5 or less.
• While we do our best to accommodate requests, station tours are conducted by on-duty firefighters who may need to leave the station to respond to emergency calls during scheduled tour times.
• You will receive an email from firedepartment@burlington.ca confirming your fire station tour booking that will include the fire station address.

Fire station tours typically last 30 minutes. Timing may vary based on firefighter availability and emergency responses.
