Ward 5 Good News, Good People

Purpose:

Do you know someone in the Ward 5 community who should be recognized for bringing the community together? Let's recognize and celebrate the extraordinary people, organizations and business that make our Ward 5 community great! We know there are many things happening every day that keep our community strong and we want to hear about them. 

Criteria:

• The community member, business or organization being acknowledged must live in or be located in Ward 5, and
• Must be organizing amazing community events or contributing to the betterment of our community or Burlington directly.
  
  

How: 

• Recognize your neighbor by submitting your Good News – Good People story to Ward 5 Councillor, Paul Sharman
• Tell us how this person, organization or business is making a difference to the community
• Include photos as part of your submission
  
  

What happens next:

Councillor Sharman’s Office will ask permission from the candidate to post their story in the Ward 5 newsletter, Ward 5 website, social media channels, and possibly for City wide recognition activities. The individual, organization or business recognized will receive a letter and visit from Councillor Sharman.

This form collects personal information to support the constituency work of Ward 5 Councillor Paul Sharman. The information, once collected, will be in the custody and under the control of Councillor Sharman and will be used to produce content for the Ward 5 newsletter, Ward 5 website, and the Councillor’s social media channels.
