Purpose
Application for Additional Residential Unit (ARU) Incentive Application program.
Additional Information
The ARU Incentive Program is available within the designated Community Improvement Project Area (CIPA), as identified in the Burlington Affordable Rental Housing CIP . The CIPA encompasses areas inside the Urban Area boundary as shown in By-Law 022-2025.
For this application you will need:
- registered with the Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plans is a requirement for this program you can sign up here Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plans - City of Burlington
- an ARU zoning clearance certificate obtained within the past year for each unit.
- pictures of each of the project area if more than one unit
- an Owners Authorization Form filled out if the applicant is not the property owner.
